What if?

What if we knew our destiny beforehand? Would that make life less interesting? Would we not make mistakes and misjudgments at all?

What if we could read what actually went on in other people’s heads? Would we never be duped again ever? Would we always want to know what people thought of us?

What if we could be in two places at once? Would that be fun? Would it be tiresome?

What if there was no technology around us? Would we be able to manage without it? Would life be much simpler? Would life be boring?

What if we were to find unconditional love? Would it be too good to believe? Would we be able to give back the same amount of love? Would we be tired of it after a while?

What if we could forget things that we want to forget, in a jiffy? Would life be less complicated? Wouldn’t that increase the possibility of making the same mistake over and over again?

What if all our dreams were fulfilled? Would we ever be satiated? Would we ever stop with our dreams and desires?

What if we got all the money in the world? Would that take away all our problems and worries? Would that be enough to make us happy?

What if there was no concept of money? Would that mean there would no poverty to deal with? Would we find a substitute for money – some way to distinguish who gets all the good things in life and who struggles for survival?

What if there was no hatred in this world? Would we stop appreciating love? Is it necessary for hatred to exist so that people realise and treasure the beauty of love?

What if we could fall out of love as easily and spontaneously as we fall in love? Would that ever be possible? Would it eliminate the word "heartbreak" from the dictionary?

What if you were to become invisible for a day? Would you enjoy it? Would you wait for the day to get over? Would you think of it as an identity crisis or would you treat it as an opportunity to steal as many ice creams as possible?

What if you could go back in time? Would you want to go back and meet Marilyn Monroe and ask her whether she actually committed suicide or was she murdered? Would you want to meet Hitler and ask him how he managed to perform such atrocious acts against people and still sleep peacefully at night? Would you want to stay in the present and leave the past alone for good?

What if you were asked to choose between love and money? Would it be a simple one? Would you choose money? Would you choose love? Would you be sure of your decision?

What if there was no concept of morals and values? Would that make life more fun? Would you miss it? Would you still manage to listen to your conscience?

What if you lived you life backward? Would you enjoy being a senior citizen first and then gradually becoming a child as life progressed?

What if there was no information and communication? Would you like that life of isolation and ignorance? On what basis would you form your opinions?

What if you could easily forgive and forget? Would you want to do that? Would you still love to hold onto your grudge?

What if you could be kids forever? Would you like to stay away from responsibilities? Would you like to be taken seriously after a while?

What if you never found your soul mate? Would you be okay with that? Would you make a compromise? Would you stay single all your life?

What if you could escape from reality at your own free will? Would you like that? Would you rather stay and face the problem at hand? Would you just wish the trouble away?

What if there was no art around us? How would we express our feelings and our creativity?

What if there was no God? How would we find our inner strength? How would the concept of atheists exist without the presence of God? Would there be no fights in the name of something else, if not religion?

What if we could not smile and laugh? Would we never come up with the concept of humour? What would make life worth living then?

What if we had a definitive answer to every "what if" we came up with? We would enjoy it? Would we prefer the unpredictability factor associated with it?

What if we stopped asking a "what if"? Would the world still progress? Would the world stagnate? Would we be bored with the status quo? Would we just love to stop thinking about it?

well...first thing nice blog....
In life there will be a lot of ifs n buts but thn the real challenge lies in accepting the present and make the best out of life...move ahead in life no matter wat the obstacle is....give ur best in love enjoy every min of it....hit the highs hit the lows enjoy and share the good and the bad "together"...lower ur expectations look fwd to the nxt day challenge ur self n see the challenge getting accomplished...have faith in HIM n he will show u the path have faith in ur love n it will lead to wonders...be true to urself n ull come up....care bout others the way u care bout urself....the"what if" will always remain "what if"its for u to give it a true shot n savor the present..

Loooooooooong and booooooring comment ahead :

Q) What if we knew our destiny beforehand? Would that make life less interesting? Would we not make mistakes and misjudgments at all?

Ans) Life would be boring if we knew where we'd end up 10 years later. We live in a world where we dream to become big, if our destiny were to show up earlier, we would've lost our drive to do something about our lives and be where our heart wants us to be.

Q) What if we could read what actually went on in other people’s heads? Would we never be duped again ever? Would we always want to know what people thought of us?

Ans) Does others thoughts really matter so much? Evil is all around us, and so is good. Working our way through the evil and the good helps us realise who are really worth being with and makes us stronger as well :) but then again...wat's on ur mind now??

Q) What if we could be in two places at once? Would that be fun? Would it be tiresome?

Ans) FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Picture Skydiving and being at the office working at the same time. You'd get your salary without a Loss of Pay, your boss won't bug you and yet you'll be having fun.

Q) What if there was no technology around us? Would we be able to manage without it? Would life be much simpler? Would life be boring?

Ans) We would be able to manage life, but with how complicated our lives have now become, it wouldn't be a simpler life anymore. It does seem to have it's good side too, we'd get to appreciate better things in life, like a walk in the garden.

Q) What if we were to find unconditional love? Would it be too good to believe? Would we be able to give back the same amount of love? Would we be tired of it after a while?

Ans) hmmmmm.....can't find an answer to this one :( ....guess it'd be too good to believe....but then again...i'm paranoid.

Q) What if we could forget things that we want to forget, in a jiffy? Would life be less complicated? Wouldn’t that increase the possibility of making the same mistake over and over again?

Ans) Forgetting is always good, but it doesn't mean we shouldn't learn from the mistakes that we made that led to it. Being cautious the next time we get into that will always keep us immune to the trouble we could face if we weren't. Keeping them in will just make us crazy!

Q) What if all our dreams were fulfilled? Would we ever be satiated? Would we ever stop with our dreams and desires?

Ans) Nothing's gonna change...we'd want something more even if we owned the world!

Q) What if we got all the money in the world? Would that take away all our problems and worries? Would that be enough to make us happy?

Ans) Money != Happiness. It may give us security in life, but happiness is of a completely different dimension. Money isn't everything, it can bring out the worst in people and often break the best of friendships too.....

Q) What if there was no concept of money? Would that mean there would no poverty to deal with? Would we find a substitute for money – some way to distinguish who gets all the good things in life and who struggles for survival?

Ans) I'm sure there would be something, humans have too much of evil deep within them that's waiting to burst out. If money wasn't a reason, something else would surely come up to let that evil out.

Q) What if there was no hatred in this world? Would we stop appreciating love? Is it necessary for hatred to exist so that people realise and treasure the beauty of love?

Ans) Would there be a reason to appreciate love then? It would just be natural then and well...even if we didn't really recognise it, it would be a lot better living in a world like that :)

Q) What if we could fall out of love as easily and spontaneously as we fall in love? Would that ever be possible? Would it eliminate the word "heartbreak" from the dictionary?

Ans) Some ppl do believe it is possible, and hence end up dating over 4 girls in two weeks.....but yeah...heartbreak doesn't go off the dictionary 'coz someday regret does touch them.

Q) What if you were to become invisible for a day? Would you enjoy it? Would you wait for the day to get over? Would you think of it as an identity crisis or would you treat it as an opportunity to steal as many ice creams as possible?

Ans) hmmm...interesting...the ice creams does sound tempting, but i'd feel lonely...i'm tired being alone in the new city that i've entered...wouldn't want to be any more lonely by being invisible...

Q) What if you could go back in time? Would you want to go back and meet Marilyn Monroe and ask her whether she actually committed suicide or was she murdered? Would you want to meet Hitler and ask him how he managed to perform such atrocious acts against people and still sleep peacefully at night? Would you want to stay in the present and leave the past alone for good?

Ans) Leave the past and learn from it rather than ponder on it.

Q) What if you were asked to choose between love and money? Would it be a simple one? Would you choose money? Would you choose love? Would you be sure of your decision?

Ans) Love....I'd be pretty sure about it. Money comes in eventually, and with love it makes every effort worth it. Without love, money is worthless.

Q) What if there was no concept of morals and values? Would that make life more fun? Would you miss it? Would you still manage to listen to your conscience?

Ans) It would be fun but it wouldn't be worth it. You'd hurt too many ppl and urself too quickly and eventually you'd fear facing ur conscience.

Q) What if you lived you life backward? Would you enjoy being a senior citizen first and then gradually becoming a child as life progressed?

Ans) Hmmmmmm...hmmmmm....hmmmmmm......my mind's going crazy trying to fit logic into the equation....hence...no answer

Q) What if there was no information and communication? Would you like that life of isolation and ignorance? On what basis would you form your opinions?

Ans) I wouldn't have anything to base/form an opinion on. I guess that's why cavemen took a while to come up with a language...after all, they needed just the following statements "I Hunt" "You Cook" "Where Food?" "Bad Food" as their vocabulary.

Q) What if you could easily forgive and forget? Would you want to do that? Would you still love to hold onto your grudge?

Ans) hmmm....u're seriously confused about this aren't you? It's similar to a previous questions and I've already answered that one there.

Q) What if you could be kids forever? Would you like to stay away from responsibilities? Would you like to be taken seriously after a while?

Ans) I'd love being the kid I've always been (yep apparently I haven't grown up yet), talking nonsense, playing video games, using weird slangs and even crazier handshakes...the works!...the last part of the question...sigh....I wish someone would take me seriously....no1 really does :(....don't blame them...i'm never really serious in the first place!

Q) What if you never found your soul mate? Would you be okay with that? Would you make a compromise? Would you stay single all your life?

Ans) I...I....I......I'm confused!

Q) What if you could escape from reality at your own free will? Would you like that? Would you rather stay and face the problem at hand? Would you just wish the trouble away?

Ans) I'd wish to stay and face my problems. Running away is never a solution and even if I had the power to make it go away, i think its better facing it.

Q) What if there was no art around us? How would we express our feelings and our creativity?

Ans) Graffitti!! (fine that's art).... blogs :)

Q) What if there was no God? How would we find our inner strength? How would the concept of atheists exist without the presence of God? Would there be no fights in the name of something else, if not religion?

Ans) Fights on something would always be there....refer to the evil in everyone statement I made earlier. I'm sure people would continue to find their inner strength though....the Chinese have...then why should it be any different for the rest of the world?

Q) What if we could not smile and laugh? Would we never come up with the concept of humour? What would make life worth living then?

Ans) Nothing!!!!! A world without smiles and laughter would be hell.

Q) What if we had a definitive answer to every "what if" we came up with? We would enjoy it? Would we prefer the unpredictability factor associated with it?

Ans) Sigh....no answer to this one....

Q) What if we stopped asking a "what if"? Would the world still progress? Would the world stagnate? Would we be bored with the status quo? Would we just love to stop thinking about it?

Ans) Two words that have changed the world completely...it has brought the best out of intellects and have got us some of the best innovations....what if i had shut my mouth when i started? ;)
